The device (10) has an air filter (14) arranged downstream of an ambient air intake duct (12) and filtering ambient air in upstream of a compressor (22). A filtered air intake duct (18) is arranged between the filter and the compressor. A buffer volume (20) is arranged upstream of an inlet of the compressor, and has a passage section larger than that of an upstream section (19) of the filtered air intake duct to create a boundary of surface of the passage section by considering flow direction of the air.
