The device has electrical motor (2) acting on movable units of a disconnecting switch for its opening/closing operation, where the motor possesses a preset value of a direct nominal voltage. A rectifier stage constituted of diode bridge (12) is supplied by a network supply voltage (U-P) and delivers a rectified direct voltage (U-R). A static interrupter (22) supplies the rectified voltage to a stator (1) of the motor, where an opening level of the interrupter is controlled so that the voltage delivered by the interrupter has an average value equal to the preset value of the voltage.
