The system has cycles, and a set of fixed locking stations (9), where each cycle is locked on the station along a longitudinal direction (L) via two fixation devices (10, 11). The device (11) includes a fork having a transversal base (22) and inner and outer branches (23a, 23b) which are spaced with each other. The fork extends from the base along the direction for forming a vertically open receiving space (24) to receive a gripping head (14). A thin plate (25) is displaced between retracted and locked positions with respect to the fork. A vertical clearance is arranged between the devices.
