The method involves decomposing an overall function into predefined elementary functions e.g. OR operation. Total number of executions necessary to the execution of the overall function is determined for each elementary function. An overall parameter of a logical controller is determined from an elementary parameter corresponding to each elementary function and the total number of executions. The decomposition and determining operations are repeated for each parameter.
