The tool (1) has V-shaped jaws (2, 3) delimiting a housing (4) for passage of an elongated body, and a cutting unit (5) extending radially to the body. Removable friction linings (6) are slidably mounted on surfaces of the jaws along a direction opposed to forwarding direction of the tool on the body from an introduction position till an immobilization position. The linings have parts in a slidable support contact with complementary reception blocks of the jaws. The linings constitute a wear part in the form of a plate.
