The plate (1) has flat springs (30, 30') connecting ends (13, 13') of the plate with lateral ends i.e. ears (23, 23'), of a brake friction pad that is situated along a direction parallel to a tangent of a disk. A fluid i.e. oil, film maintaining device is situated between the plate and the pad. The ends (13, 13') have fixation devices (31, 31') that fix the ears of the pad. The device has a strip that is provided with openings situated between the plate and another strip that is provided in contact with the pad. An independent claim is also included for a disc brake comprising a brake pad hanger.
