Gripper for manipulating metal sheets, for use in association with a robot arm, comprises a fixed jaw and a moving jaw mounted on a rigid frame, which is the same whether the gripper is of C-type or X-type. An independent claim is also included for a set of grippers as above, including C-type and X-type grippers, all having frames of similar (preferably identical) shape and appearance.
