The stopper has a valve (2) mounted on a hollow body (1) by a hinge system, and moved between closed and opening positions of an inner bore of a hollow boring auger, where the body is fixed at an end of the auger. The system has a resistance unit to resist movement of the valve from one position to the other position by deformation of an articulation rod (6) of a hinge due to an offset between rotary and fixed hinge pin elements (4, 5). The pin elements (4, 5) are respectively integrated with the valve and the body.
