The method involves measuring an electromagnetic radiation parameter in a model zone, and determining non-measured electromagnetic radiation parameters in other model zones. An absorption rate of electromagnetic radiation is determined in absorption medium e.g. air, from measurements of parameters received in a zone, the measured parameter and the non-measured parameters, where the radiation is generated by a receiving and transmitting apparatus e.g. combined cellular telephone. Measurement of the rate is replaced by reading an electronic file that represents the rate measurement. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electromagnetic radiation absorption rate measuring device comprising an acquiring unit (2) an electromagnetic radiation detection head comprising a set of electromagnetic wave sensors.
