The system has a feedback control block (30) for controlling feedback of a motorized opening e.g. sliding side door, of a motor vehicle according to displacement measurements of the opening. An obstacle detection module (44) detects an obstacle such as hand, opposing to the displacement of the opening. A disturbance compensation module (46) compensates the disturbance on the displacement of the opening caused by the action of force on the opening other that those generated by the contact of the obstacle on the opening.
