The system has a carriage (3) with a radio-frequency identification (RFID) module (4) that receives identifications of object i.e. container, to be positioned at a location. The object has RFID tag emitting and receiving radio-frequency signals. Front end antenna (5) and lateral antennas (6, 7) receive signals from the object to identify the geographic position of the object. Information storage unit stores information associated to the object to be positioned. A Wireless fidelitycommunication module (9) between the carriage and central station (1) provides application services.
