The method involves detecting a functioning state e.g. out of service, of installations (111, 112, 121) among a set of predefined functioning states. Information relative to the detected functioning state is emitted from treated sites (11, 12) to a treating site (15) via a wireless communication network (14) e.g. global system for mobile communications (GSM) telephone network, and the emitted information is received by the treating site. Functioning quality data of the installation is delivered from analysis of the received information. An independent claim is also included for a system for delivering functioning quality data of an installation located on a treated site.
