The compartment has a receptacle (8) e.g. semi-cylindrical trough, moved in rotation around a vertical swivel axis (10). The receptacle is pivoted at 360 degree around the swivel axis from a retracted position and moves back to the retracted position, where the receptacle is retracted inside a case (6) in the retracted position. The receptacle is delimited by a semi-circular lateral wall (16) including two gates (24, 26). Each gate is moved between opening and closing positions. A motorized cinematic chain drives the receptacle.
