The device has a belt (8a) surrounding driving pulleys (9a, 9b) of vertical axes and provided with an arm (12a) that drives objects i.e. containers. The arm is horizontally extended in projection from the belt. Another belt (8b) surrounds the driving pulley (9b) and a driven pulley (10b) coaxial to the pulleys of the belt (8a), where the belts are superimposed with each other. The belt (8b) is provided with an arm (12b) that is horizontally extended in projection from the belt (8b). Motors (11a, 11b) are actuated independent of the driving pulleys. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for transporting an object (2) an object processing installation comprising a processing device.
