The board has a lower sliding surface (2) laterally edged by lower edges (21), and a core constituted by the combination of a light wire core (5) and an upper reinforcement and decoration assembly (6). The core includes an upper part (7) that has a central recess (8) extending on the width of the wire core and a part of a reinforcement side-member (4) by determining ridges (9). The recess receives the upper assembly, where the width (le) of the recess corresponds to the width of the upper assembly for partially supporting the upper assembly on the side-member. The wire core is constituted of a combination of light materials e.g. honeycomb, balsa wood, bamboo, cell or tubular grid, expanded foam. The wire core is surrounded by a reinforcement fabric web.
