The device has an initializing unit to initialize a profile of an individual, and including an input unit e.g. electronic pen (2), for inputting data representative of food habits, morphology and living way of the individual. A saving unit saves the data, and an updating unit updates the profile by inputting and saving a change in the data. A touch screen (1) displays guidelines for assisting the individual, where the guidelines are associated with the updated profile.
