The device has an external sub-assembly (1a) arranged on outer side of a casement incorporating a handle (8). An internal sub-assembly (1b) is arranged on an inner side of the casement on which a handle is articulated through openings arranged on the casement. Spacers (15, 16) are arranged opposite to each opening and present a recess that is superposed at each opening. Each spacer is fixed on a technical plate (14) and presents a support surface against an inner surface of the casement with a profile that is complementary to the profile of the casement in a peripheral zone of the opening.
