The cover (1) has rectangular identical panels (1a) transversally jointed together by a common zone (1c). Temporarily coupling complementary units (2, 3) e.g. zipper, are equipped with lateral edges of each panel, while transversal free edges of the panels are extended by flaps (1d) for determining free parts at ends of the lateral edges. The complementary units are arranged at a level of each free part for acting as a stop at a quilt (C) after connecting the units with the flaps, where the flap is connected with the quilt and other flap is connected under a mattress.
