The unit (1) has a protective system provided with a rectangular panel (9) that is equipped with connection units for connecting a storage unit structure (2). The connection units are arranged, such that the panel is moved with respect to the structure between safety and disengagement positions. The panel is arranged with respect to an opening of a storage area (5) for retaining objects (6) in the safety position. The panel authorizes an access to the storage area for loading the objects towards the storage area and unloading the objects from the storage area in the disengagement position.
