The device has a ramp (62) displacing between a rest position in which the ramp enters in a housing situated between lateral parts of a chassis (52) and under a floor (54), and a loading and/or unloading position. The ramp is removed from the housing and laid on the rear of a transport vehicle by its front end and on the ground by its rear end in the latter position. A guiding unit guides the ramp between the positions and brings back the ramp above the floor, when the ramp made of a composite material reaches the loading/unloading position. An independent claim is also included for a rear floor module comprising a housing.
