The device has a main internal gas passage (11) whose portion is divided, in a location (14), into two branches (12, 13). The branches are joined in another location (15) located downstream of the location (14). Each branch has low and high rate solenoid valves (16, 17) for controlling a flow rate of gas circulating in the branches. A gas passage restriction unit (20) is arranged on the passage between an inlet (11a) and the location (14) where the passage is divided. A pressure sensor (19) measures gas pressure in the passage between the passage restriction unit and the valves.
