The apparatus (10) has a driving pusher (12) mounted in translation in a guide (15), and a housing (16) located in the guide for housing fasteners (23) e.g. nail. The guide has a supply opening (17) in a zone of the housing for supplying the fasteners. A fastener pushing device (30) is mounted on the guide for pushing the fasteners, and is controlled by the pusher. The device includes a transporting unit (31) stressed in a direction of the guide by a spring, and a positioning unit (33) cooperating with the pusher.
