The method involves modeling an operating need from a hierarchical decomposition, and modeling architecture based on predefined architecture rules. The model of the operating need is allocated on the model of the architecture. Non functional parameter is calculated from the functional model. A hardware component and software component are designed, if the non functional requirement is followed. A new architecture is defined or new allocation of the functional model on the architecture model is searched, if the non functional requirement is not followed.
