The device (DAE) has linear pointers (CUR1, CUR2) for representing a series of numerical, alphabetic or alphanumeric values, and external actuators (ACE1, ACE2) for directly acting on the linear pointers, where the device is in the shape of disk (DIS). The actuators are arranged in an axis of the pointers. The linear pointers are coaxial to a diameter of the disk, and permits visualization of operations such as sending of messages.
