The device has upper and lower hours scales (2, 3) subdivided into a preset number of equally long sections, and left and right minutes scales (4, 5) subdivided into a preset number of equally long sections. An hours pointer (6) and a minutes pointer (7) move on the respective sections, and the movement direction of the hours and minutes pointers are reversed when the pointers achieve ends of the scale sections, respectively. The pointers are fixed on linearly movable pointer moving devices (8) and are arranged at an angle of 90 degree to each other.
