The rotor (10) has windings (14) wounded around two of tooth sections (22) of a stator core (12) to form two winding parts. A crossover (54) of each winding is positioned on an axial side (Z2) of a ring section (20). A crossover-recess area is axially and radially formed in an end surface of the ring section on the axial side at an area within an outer circumferential surface of the ring section, where a section of each crossover is accommodated in the recess area. An outermost part (56) of the crossovers is axially positioned in an outermost part of the parts on another axial side.
