The machine has a rotor (1) fixed to a rotating shaft (4), which coaxially turns with a stator (2). Consoles (5, 6) are fixed to the stator to support the shaft. A rotational position detector (11) is arranged in an extremity side of the shaft for detecting a rotational position of the rotor. A shielding component (12) is mounted on the detector and is constituted of a metal based dully ferromagnetic substance. The component covers the periphery of the detector and shields the external magnetic field generated from a part of a switching element (9) of a motive part (18). The shielding component has a structure in which a conducting material and an insulating material are radically laminated.
