The vehicle (1) has a tilting telescopic arm (24) with an end (24a) articulated with a rear part of a cassette (15) and another end (24b) articulated on a structure of the vehicle. A roller (27) is carried by the arm and cooperated with a guiding rail (30) that continuously guides the cassette carrying a roof panel (11) between retracted, intermediate and horizontal storage positions. A reducing unit (50) i.e. double compass system, reduces the trajectory of a driving unit (60) i.e. cylinder, that drives the cassette.
