The device (3) has a potential of hydrogen (PH) reagent and a temporizer varnish contained in a receptacle of a plastic part, where the receptacle passes through a central hole. The device exposes measurement of potential of hydrogen if the measurement passes below a minimum corresponding to institutional review board standard, and temporizes contact of the reagent with the water of a swimming pool (2), where the measurement is not removable or hiddenable. The device is fixed on an armed PVC membrane covering a wall (5) of the pool.
