Wheel right or left position locating method for motor vehicle, involves combining location data that defines distinct groups of wheels, with data of localization procedure to speed up or confirm convergence of procedure
The method involves emitting signals representing operation parameters of front and rear wheels by electronic boxes (6-9) in a motor vehicle (1). Two localization procedures are implemented, where one of the procedures determines a longitudinal position on a front end (Av) or a rear end (Ar) of the vehicle, and the other procedure determines left position (G) or right position (D) of the wheels. Location data defining distinct groups of the wheels is combined with data of the latter procedure to speed up or confirm convergence of the latter procedure during resulting of the procedures.
