The evaporator has heat exchange rows (R1, R2) connected with each other for circulation of a refrigerant e.g. R134a. The rows have fluid circulation tubes defining fluid circulation channels (P11, P22) connected to inlet (E) and outlet (S) of the evaporator, respectively. The tubes of the row (R2) have a fluid flow section larger than a fluid flow section of the tubes of the row (R1) such that the channel (P22) have a volume higher than that of the channel (P11).
