The multilayer antimalarial spheroids (1) according to the invention comprise at least two layers (3, 4) each containing a different active principle, one of these active principles being artesunate.The second active ingredient is preferably another antimalarial compound , including lumefantrine, amodiaquine, halofantrine, piperaquine, primaquine, chloroquine or mefloquine, or an antibiotic, anti-tuberculosis or anti-parasitic compound.For faster release, artesunate is preferentially contained in the outer layer of spheroids.Several processes for the manufacture of such spheroids are contemplated.This invention is of interest in the field of medicine and in particular treatment against malaria.
