The device has an inspiratory circuit (2) with a complementary circuit placed between a connection piece (4) and valve (12) of the inspiratory circuit. The complementary circuit has a compressor/aspirator (8) authorizing the transfer of aerosol in the inspiratory circuit during expiratory phase and transfer of the aerosol along two flows during inspiratory phase. The flows respectively transit into the complementary and inspiratory circuits. A connection between the complementary and inspiratory circuits permits to obtain an inspiratory gas flow for a patient equal to sum of the aerosol flows.
