PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet animal health monitoring system solving such problems that, pet animal health conditions need to be informed to a relevant owner in more detail and as early as possible, and for informing the owner of the pet animal's physical condition alterations, the physical conditions are always monitored by wearing a biosensor on the pet animal; in this case, maximal power saving of the biosensor is needed in view of power source limitations. PSOLUTION: The pet animal health monitoring system comprises a vocal data generating section for generating vocal data based on a pet animal's cry, an emotional data generating section 120 for generating the pet animal's emotional data based on the vocal data, a biosensor 140 for measuring the pet animal's biological data, a biosensor control unit 130 for making a control of the start-up of the biosensor 140 based on at least either one of the vocal data and the emotional data, a biological data obtaining section 150 for obtaining the pet animal's biological data, a health data generating section 160 for producing the pet animal's health data based on at least either one of the vocal data, the biological data and the emotional data, and an output section of outputting the health data.
