PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic method for psychological symptom in which method all analysis and diagnosis are automatically executed using general functions and professional functions of a computer. PSOLUTION: The diagnostic method for psychological symptom includes: a step in which a diagnosis subject selects and arranges some from various patterns provided and his psychological symptom is diagnosed by those; a step in which questions are provided for the diagnosis subject; a step in which personal character of the diagnosis subject is acquired by responses to the questions; a step in which an analysis subject diagram by coloring work by the diagnosis subject is input; a step in which a color factor and a concentration degree factor of the analysis subject diagram is analyzed; and a step in which psychological symptom of the diagnosis subject is diagnosed by searching knowledge from a knowledge database based on selection and arrangement of the pattern, at least one of the color factor and the concentration degree factor, and the personal character.
