PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a condition for puncture of an electrode needle or the volume of power supply from a view-point of secure necrosis of a lesion while preventing injury to organs present in the periphery of a target.;SOLUTION: The puncture ablation planning support device 10 comprises a deformation simulating means 12 for finding the state of deformation of the organs when the electrode needle 25 reaches the target T or the vicinity from a predetermined condition for puncture; a temperature simulating means 13 for finding the temperature distribution of the organs in the deformed state obtained by the deformation simulating means 12 assuming that the organs are ablated at the calorific value with the preset volume of power supply to the electrode needle 25; and a determining means 15 for determining whether the condition for puncture and the volume of power supply are appropriate or not based on the temperature distribution.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
