PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brick structure for a bottom-blowing tuyere with which the damage of a tuyere brick is restrained and which can withstand a use for a long period of time, in the bottom-blowing tuyere constituted of the tuyere brick composed of a magnesia-carbon brick and a tuyere-surrounding brick surrounding the tuyere brick and composed of the magnesia-carbon brick.;SOLUTION: The brick structure for the bottom-blowing tuyere is constituted of the tuyere brick having a gas-blowing tube for blowing gas for refining and composed of the magnesia-carbon brick and the tuyere-surrounding brick surrounding the tuyere brick and composed of the magnesia-carbon brick. In the brick structure for the bottom-blowing tuyere set at the bottom part of a converter, the carbon content of the tuyere brick is lower than the carbon content of the tuyere-surrounding brick, and accordingly, the thermal-expansion ratio of the tuyere brick is relatively larger than the thermal-expansion ratio of the tuyere-surrounding brick, and thermal-conductivity of the tuyere brick is relatively smaller than that of the tuyere-surrounding brick.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
