METHOD FOR FLOOD REGULATION AND WATER UTILIZATION, AND RAINWATER STORAGE FACILITY USED FOR THE METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for flood regulation and water utilization, and a rainwater storage facility used for the method capable of sufficiently demonstrating the flood regulation capacity even when the actual rainfall is deviated from the estimated rainfall during the general rainfall, and efficiently performing the water utilization without wastefully discharging stored water in a storage tank. PSOLUTION: In the method for flood regulation and water utilization, the flood regulation is executed by discharging the stored water in a storage tank before the rainfall so as to ensure a storage space for the estimated inflow amount flowing in the storage tank at least in the storage tank during the rainfall derived from the obtained meteorological data, and the stored water in the storage tank is used for the water for water utilization. When the water level of the stored water after the end of rainfall is higher than the water control safety water level which is preset to the position lower than the full water level of the storage tank, the water utilization is performed in a state of discharging the stored water to the water control safety water level.
