PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible in a software development-supporting device both to retrieve a desired part in a block diagram and to identify a block element composed of the same pattern in the block diagram to improve efficiency in block diagram maintenance work.;SOLUTION: A software development-supporting device 1 automatically generates a program from a block diagram. The device 1 extracts a plurality of block elements, which are written on a block diagram, and the connective relations between the block elements concerned, as the block diagram connection information, by means of a block diagram connection information extraction part 5, and determines whether there is a part, which accords with block diagram connection information for retrieval, in the block diagram connection information, by means of a block diagram accordance determination part 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
