PSOLUTION: An electronic dictionary terminal for storing dictionary information including a title word and corresponding explanation information for every dictionary identification information, and for displaying the explanation information corresponding to the retrieval word makes a display part display the first retrieval result of the title word corresponding to the first retrieval word and the corresponding explanation information by using the dictionary information shown by the first dictionary identification information as the object of retrieval, and stores the first dictionary identification information and the first retrieval word, and after the first retrieval result is displayed by the display part, the electronic dictionary terminal reads the title word corresponding to the second dictionary identification information and a second retrieval word and the corresponding explanation information for display, and makes the display part display the explanation information corresponding to the second dictionary identification information and the second retrieval word, and when the reading request of the first retrieval result is input, the electronic dictionary terminal reads the stored first dictionary identification information and the first retrieval word, and reads the explanation information corresponding to the read first dictionary identification information and the first retrieval word for display.
