PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detection of antagonistic microorganisms to Pythium group microorganisms, and the antagonistic microorganisms, and soil diseases-preventing agents using the same.;SOLUTION: In the method for detecting the antagonistic microorganisms that can show biological prevention of blight of the Pythium group microorganisms, contaminated soil with Pythium is prepared by drying Pythium-including soil with air, then pulverizing, and using the inoculum, and a testing bacillus is inoculated or mixed, then plant seeds are sown and grown to detect the antagonistic microorganisms by estimating the suppression effect of the plant testing bacillus against the biological prevention of Pythium group microorganisms by the pot test. This method is characterized by that the number of the bacillus of the Pythium group microorganisms in the contaminated soil is adjusted so that the minimum number of the bacillus needing for attacking all of the seeded and grown plants.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
