PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a total heat exchange element having sufficient antibacterial and antifungal property without deteriorating hygroscopic performance by solving problems that supporting or applying antibacterial or antifungal agent on an inorganic adsorbent causes the blocking of the adsorption of water molecule on the pore surface developing the hygroscopic property to deteriorate the hygroscopic performance and the degradation of the antibacterial or antifungal agent occurs because moisture is released at ≥100°C to deteriorate the performance.;SOLUTION: In the total heat exchange element having excellent antibacterial and anti fungal property, a sheet like material made from a hygroscopic layer consisting essentially of an organic polymer based adsorbent formed by incorporating at least one metal selected from a group comprising silver, copper and zinc in the organic polymer having hydrophilic polar group and a crosslinking structure in the molecule by ≥0.1 wt.% and ≤1.5 wt.% is formed into a honeycomb shape and the saturated moisture absorptivity of the sheet like material at 20°C in 65%RH and 90%RH is respectively ≥20 wt.% and ≥40 wt.% and the difference thereof is ≥20 wt.%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
