PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod structure of a vehicular folding type door, capable of improving vehicle mountability, and capable of reducing restriction in the door folding direction and design.;SOLUTION: An expansion rod 19 has a fixed side member 21 and a movable side member 22, and is expandably energized to the extension side between a contracted state corresponding to a totally closed state and a halfway opened state of a back door and an extension side corresponding to a totally opened state. The fixed side member 21 is provided with a switching means 28 for switching to a lock state of holding the movable side member 22 in the contracted state and an unlocking state of allowing the movable side member 22 to become the extension state. A support base 25 is provided with a reset means 29 for switching the switching means 28 to the lock state by engaging with the switching means 28 in the middle of the movement, when the switching means 28 is put in the unlocking state and the back door is moved to a totally closed position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
