PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottom removal method of an existing well casing pipe for removing only the bottom without breaking a casing pipe, and a renovation method of an existing well for performing effective plugging removal by moving gravel after removing the bottom by the bottom removal method.;SOLUTION: A bottom removing implement 4 constituted to be rotatable by a drive source and to form its tip as a grinding surface 5 of approximately flat face shape is inserted through the casing pipe 2 and brought into contact with the bottom 3 of the casing pipe 2.
