PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowering-plant cargo collecting/forwarding method solving the problem of difficulty in performing work such as boxing or cargo reception in flowering-plant cargo collecting/forwarding facilities when a container is charged with water in advance whereas flowers easy to run dry in a short time when having no water require to be shipped with water charged in the container.;SOLUTION: The flowering-plant cargo collecting/forwarding method comprises: receiving a cargo in such a condition that the longitudinal side of a flowering plant (k) whose root part is inserted into the container (y) lies along a longitudinal direction (h3) of a rectangular parallelopiped box (h) in the box (h); rising up the box (h) in a vertically long state to put the flowering plant (k) in a standing posture; inserting a water-supply pipe (31) into an opening part (g) formed at the side surface of the box (h); and supplying water to the container (y) followed by making shipment of the flowering plant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
