PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a used cooking oil treatment method and a used cooking oil treatment apparatus which enable a contaminated used cooking oil to be used directly as a diesel engine fuel or to be used in the pretreatment of a biodiesel fuel.;SOLUTION: Among organic impurities contained in a used cooking oil, 100 μm or larger organic impurities are separated by means of a strainer, and below 100 μm organic impurities remaining in the used cooking oil are pulverized to 10 μm or smaller by the generation of ultrasonic cavitation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
