PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge performance examining method of a functional liquid droplet discharge head, assuring the relationship between a driving voltage applied on the functional liquid droplet discharge head and its discharging amount.;SOLUTION: This method includes: a voltage/discharging amount characteristic obtaining step for obtaining voltage/discharging amount characteristic from the first driving voltage Vh, the first discharging amount Mh, the second driving voltage Vl, and the second discharging amount Ml by applying the first driving voltage Vh and the second driving voltage Vl on the inkjet functional liquid droplet discharge head 1, and measuring the impacted discharging amount of the liquid droplet as the first discharging amount Mh and the second discharging amount Ml; a characteristic determining step for determining whether the voltage/discharging amount characteristic satisfies an allowable voltage/discharging amount characteristic set as a normal reference; and a measurement abnormality determining step for determining that a measurement abnormality occurs at least in one of the first discharging amount Mh and the second discharging amount Ml when the voltage/discharging amount characteristic is determined not to satisfy the allowable voltage/discharging amount characteristic.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
