PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive positioning method, device, and system having adaptability, reliability, high accuracy, extensibility, and low cost.;SOLUTION: The device includes an observation result collector for collecting a TOA result and RSS result of a signal transmitted from an object, a TOA result counter for determining the number of the collected TOA results, and a position computer for selecting a position calculation method of a mobile body based on the input number of TOA results and calculating the position of the mobile body by using the selected calculation method.
