PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interference suppression system and an interference suppression method for restraining deterioration in the communication of a first radio communication system while suppressing interference imparted to a second radio communication system from the base station of a first radio communication system, when the first and second heterogeneous radio systems using the same frequency band coexist.;SOLUTION: A transmission control station 300 is provided near the radio station of the radio communication system 20. The transmission control station 300 generates an interference suppression control signal based on acquisition information from the radio station of the radio communication system 20, and transmits the interference suppression control signal to a base station 100 in the communication system of the radio communication system 10. More specifically, the transmission control station 300 functions as a different system monitoring device for monitoring a different system, and transmits the interference suppression control signal based on the monitored result to the base station 100, thus allowing the base station 100 to transmit data corresponding to the situation of the different system, and hence obtaining the interference suppression effect and communication deterioration prevention effect among differen systems.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
