PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field adjusting device which can adjust a magnetic field of a permanent magnet type synchronous motor regardless of coil currents of the motor.;SOLUTION: The magnetic field adjusting device comprises coils (2) arranged at a plurality of permanent magnets (1) of the permanent magnet type synchronous motor, and power feeding means (3 to 5) which feed DC currents to the coils (2), and generate magnetic flux (Φ2) in a reverse direction with respect to the direction of the magnetic flux (Φ1) of the corresponding permanent magnet (1) from each coil (2).
